In 2015, Kathleen Langhi had the inspiration for opening a locally produced and created product store in Colusa, CA. The concept stemmed from her desire to feature local products and products made in the USA. Colusa, CA seemed like a great community teaming with farming and product entrepreneurs with a limited stage to accent their product. ColUSA Made was born...
In May of 2016, Kathleen teamed up with husband Paul Santinelli and acquired the Samuel Richard Smith Building in Colusa's Historic Chinatown District. The brick building, constructed in 1890, is located on 8th and Main Streets. The building underwent a restoration and modernization process through the Summer of 2016 and emerged as the home for ColUSA Made.
While discussing the use of the space, the idea of wine tasting locally produced vintages came to mind. And after much thought and exploration, The Tap Room @ ColUSA Made was created to feature craft beers and fine wines throughout the country. Ten beer taps and a 200+ bottle capacity for wine was designed into an inviting space, including a state-of-the art sound system for acoustic acts and a back patio.
We hope you will find ColUSA Made as inviting as the people of the community and stop by to sit, sip and converse.
